Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Abara ("we", "us", or "our"), a business messaging platform that connects businesses with their customers over WhatsApp. By creating an account or using Abara, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Abara. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide during signup is accurate.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to connect the WhatsApp Business number you link to Abara.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Abara to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or violate WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy
  • Send content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section or Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform policies.

4. WhatsApp Business Platform

Abara integrates with Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Your use of WhatsApp messaging through Abara is also subject to WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and Meta's Platform Terms. If Meta suspends or restricts your number, we may not be able to restore WhatsApp functionality on your Abara account.

5. Fees

Some features of Abara may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase. WhatsApp conversation-based charges from Meta, where applicable, are separate from and in addition to any Abara fees.

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit through Abara, including message content sent to your customers. You grant us a license to process this data as necessary to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

You may stop using Abara and disconnect your WhatsApp number at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if required to do so by Meta or applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, though certain provisions of these Terms will survive.

8. Disclaimers

Abara is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service, including where interruptions result from Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Abara after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will post the updated "Last updated" date above.
